The current context is about events that happen around us and one’s ability to respond to these events efficiently. Events can be Unstructured (the type handled by social media) or Structured (exemplified by processes such as loan approvals, bill payments and many more). The core thought and capability of Appiyo is to enable consumers to recognize/receive events happening around them and provide them the capability/opportunity to respond to these events on their mobility devices from anywhere using social principles. Appiyo consists of a social wrapper around a process flow definition canvas. It also has a ProcessStore. Social wrapper enables community members to have conversations around their ideas. The process canvas allows community members to implement their ideas, either by assembling or building anew. The ProcessStore allows the community to showcase and trade their products/solutions. The entire integrated product has the same underlying runtime technology. It can be made available as a public deployment or as a private deployment. The mobile interface allows for notification based action.
